A connected platform for faster, more engaging racing experiences
Venue management, racing rigs, and a customer kiosk now run as one system. Competitions launch in a few clicks, and every session ends with a result worth sharing.
Returning customers grew from ~10% to ~50% of venue revenue
The challenge
Racing venues juggle several systems just to prepare games, configure sessions, manage customers, and collect results. Most off-the-shelf software only covers a slice of that.
For venue managers, launching a session usually meant walking rig to rig, clicking through in-game menus on each one. Same setup, over and over, for every customer or competition. Every employee had to learn the technical quirks of several different games just to do their job.
And once a session ended, there wasn’t much to show for it. Results were hard to access or share, which left the venue with fewer ways to bring people back or get customers talking about it online.
The client needed something that could:
cut the time it takes to configure and launch a racing session
work across different games and racing rigs
make common competition formats easy to repeat
take some of the technical load off venue employees
give customers a way to see their own results
support stronger engagement after a customer’s visit
Before — every rig is its own island, configured by hand through in-game menus
The solution
We designed and built a connected software ecosystem around a central SaaS platform.
Venue managers now create reusable competition presets — game, track, vehicle, session, and competition settings, all in one place. Instead of configuring every rig by hand through the game’s own interface, an employee just picks a preset and launches from the management platform.
Custom launcher software runs on each racing rig, picks up that configuration, and starts the right game with the right settings automatically.
A connected kiosk gives customers another way in, so sessions can be started with even fewer manual steps. Platform, launcher, and kiosk together turn the venue into one coordinated workflow instead of a row of separate machines.
After — one cloud platform connects every rig, plus results pages, the customer app, social media, and other locations
Key capabilities
01
Reusable competition presets
Managers prepare common racing formats ahead of time and reuse them whenever they’re needed.
Presets cut down on repetitive setup work and keep the experience consistent no matter which employee, customer, or location is running it.
02
Centralized session launching
Sessions launch straight from the management interface — no more clicking through the menus of every game and rig.
Employees need less technical knowledge to run the floor, and training a new manager gets a lot simpler.
03
Connected racing rig software
A custom launcher links each rig back to the central platform.
It takes the manager’s configuration and turns it into actions on the machine, so every part of the venue behaves like one system.
04
Customer-facing kiosk
The kiosk makes starting and managing a customer session simpler.
A friendlier interface for the everyday tasks, and fewer steps before a customer is actually racing.
05
Shareable session results
Every completed session can generate a public results page with its own URL.
Venues send it straight to the customer, who can come back later, compare performance, or post it on social media.
Implementation
A number of pieces had to work together reliably:
Cloud-based SaaS management platformCustom launcher software on racing rigsKiosk interface built for fast on-location usePlatform-to-machine communicationCompetition & session configuration toolsPublic results pagesSupport for different venue workflows and formats
Design decision
We built the system around reusable configurations instead of one-off session setup. Daily work gets faster, but venues still keep the flexibility to run their own races, events, and competitions.
The result
The platform replaced a fragmented, repetitive process with one coordinated workflow.
Managers now launch prepared competitions in a few clicks instead of configuring sessions rig by rig. Employees have more time to actually talk to customers — and can get more participants registered and ready during busy periods.
Public results pages carry the experience beyond the session itself: customers can track how they did, share it, and stay connected to the venue after they’ve gone home. The numbers followed — before the changes, returning customers brought in roughly 10% of the location’s revenue. With the engagement tools in place, that share has grown to about 50%.
The venue ends up with both an operational tool and a foundation it can build future customer-engagement features on top of.
Outcome summary

Faster session preparation
Reusable presets cut the manual setup needed for each customer or competition.
✓
Less technical complexity
Managers no longer have to learn the configuration process for every supported game.
✓
More time for customers
Employees can focus on hospitality, events, and support instead of repetitive setup.
✓
Returning customers now drive ~50% of revenue
Up from roughly 10% before the platform — public result pages and follow-up tools give customers an actual reason to come back.
✓
A scalable foundation
The SaaS + launcher + kiosk setup can take on more games, more venue workflows, and more engagement features over time.
One connected system instead of a dozen manual steps
Connecting venue management, racing rigs, kiosks, and session results turned a pile of manual tasks into a faster, more consistent service.
